On my ranger, I had a pet and renamed it. Then I read that you can't track the pet's evolution if you do that, so I got rid of that one and got a new pet. But... the pet is still named what I renamed the other one. I tested it a few times, and it seems that I can't get it to be renamed. It's a Moa Bird (they're hilarious), so should I just get a new one and rename it Moa Bird? Would that make it track the evolution? If not, is there some way to wipe the name so that when I capture a new pet, it'll have the default name and track evolution?

the only way to do so is make a new character for the moment and u could off found this easily usingthe search function
